WOODSTOCK - Toys for Big Boys is coming to Oxford County next month.
The event is designed with guys in mind and will feature a live auction, raffle, beer and whiskey tastings, along with an outdoor lounges. It is presented by Power Garage and one of the Organizers Leslie Farrell says the guys are going to be impressed as soon as they walk in the doors.
"We will have this great big CAT equipment, we have the new fire truck that will be outside, we have some incredible farm equipment that is going to be out there and we are going to be giving you guys some BBQ meat, right as you arrive."
Farrell says the ladies are definitely invited to come out as well, however they did want to do something special for the guys.
"It always seems like we always events geared for women in Oxford County, whether we are selling purses, or selling essential oils, or the old school Tupperware parties but this event is all about power and it is all about anything that you would like to have in your garage, but hey I know the ladies also like speed boats too so of course, everyone is welcome."
The event is fully catered by a number of local businesses, so you will go home with a full belly and maybe even a new toy for your garage.
The United Way Oxford Toys for Big Boys event will provide attendees with a unique experience, giving them a look at the biggest and best products and services on the market in our community. All proceeds from the event will go towards United Way Oxford’s local initiatives to build strong communities, combat poverty, and help kids be all they can be.
Tickets cost $60 and they do have some ticket package deals available. You can buy your tickets now at the United Way Office at 447 Hunter St. or by calling 519-539-3851.
