Ingersoll BIA Preparing for Pizza Fest

The best pizza will be crowned on Thursday July 24th.

INGERSOLL - Five local restaurants will battle it out once again to see who has the best pizza in Ingersoll.

The Ingersoll BIA will be hosting it's fourth annual Pizza Fest in Heritage Square on Thursday July 24th this year.

A panel of judges will determine who has the Best Pepperoni Pizza and the Best Creative Pizza. Pizza Hut won the pepperoni category last year, while Tito's won the creative award. Gino's won both categories in 2023.

Those who attend will also be able to try all of the pizza's to make that decision for themselves. Tickets will cost $1 each and one slice of pizza is worth three tickets. You can also get pop or water for one ticket.

In addition to the delicious food the evening will include performances by Rated Blue, the Ingersoll Pipe Band and Darren Bedford, also known as the stilt walking Pizza Chef.

There's also going to be inflatable axe throwing on site, in addition to a car show and extended shopping hours for local businesses.

The event will run from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the proceeds will support local charities. This includes the Ingersoll Salvation Army, the Ingersoll Lions Club and the Ingersoll Theatre of Performing Arts.
