Officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Karn Road last night and they found the driver to be under the influence of an unknown substance. The accused is scheduled to appear in a Woodstock courtroom at a later date.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - Oxford OPP responded to a single vehicle collision on Karn Road in South-West Oxford.
Officers found the vehicle after they arrived on scene yesterday before 7:00 pm and they saw the driver was under the influence of an unknown substance.
Oxford County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) was also on scene and there were no injuries reported. The driver was taken into custody and sobriety tests were conducted.
A 45-year-old man from Ingersoll was charged with the following offence:
- Operation While Impaired - Drugs and Alcohol.
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Woodstock courtroom at a later date.
