Innerkip Lions Club to Host Drive Thru Fish Fry

The Innerkip Lions Club will be hosting a drive thru Fish Fry at the Innerkip Community Centre on Saturday November 6th and pre-sale tickets are on sale now.

INNERKIP - Pre-sale tickets are available for the Innerkip Lions drive thru Fish Fry. 

Lions member Scott McKeague says they're trying to get a sense of how much food they will need.

"We are trying to get a good idea of how many meals we need to prepare, but we will also be selling meals at the door too. If you are not able to get tickets ahead of time, you are more than welcome to still come to the community centre on November 6." 

He adds proceeds from the Fish Fry will help with Lions Club events in the community, including the Santa Claus Parade on December 11th. 

"The Innerkip Lions Club is involved in the community for a number of different events. We have added the Santa Claus parade this year. It is normally run by the fire department, but they want to take some time back this year and actually watch the parade with their kids and grand kids." 

The Lions Club also hosts several events in the community throughout the year, including the Canada Day parade and softball tournament.
