Jordan Kent would like to implement a low cost transit system if he is elected as a Blandford Blenheim councillor this fall.
BLANDFORD BLENHEIM - A local man is throwing is name back into the council race in Blandford Blenheim.
Jordan Kent says there's a lot of issues he would like to address if he is voted in this October.
"I am running on an affordable housing strategy and on implementing a low cost transit system based on what the town of Innisfil Ontario did. It only cost them $100,000 and they've had 27,000 users that use the system frequently."
He would also like to address the Princeton wastewater crisis and keep the Bright Fire Station open.
Kent says he would like to find a way to invest in the future while keeping taxes low.
"It's not enough to brag that we have the lowest cut taxes in Oxford County if we're not providing residents with the services that they need, it means nothing if we aren't helping those who need it most and it certainly means nothing we're not consistently investing in the future of Blandford Blenheim."
Kent ran for council back in 2014 and was only 316 votes away from winning a seat.
