FLORIDA - Kirstie Alley has passed away at the age of 71.
Her family broke the news of her death over social media yesterday. They say she passed away after a short battle with cancer, adding it was recently discovered. They also thanked the doctors and nurses at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa for their care.
Alley was a two-time Emmy winner known for starring in the 90s sitcom Cheers and her role in the Look Who's Talking films.
