WOODSTOCK - The community will get a chance to see all kinds of Lady Bosses at the Oxford Auditorium.
The Lady Boss Shine and Shop is a vendor show, featuring women who run their own business across different industries.
Organizer Angila Peters says there will be different entrepreneurs on hand.
"You can expect a really big variety of vendors. We have women who are hand crafters, they make their own goods, we have women that work for direct sales companies and we have service providers. For instance, a dog groomer wouldn't normally be at a vending show but she gets a chance to show off what she does. Real estate agents, interior designers, we just have everything. If you have a woman with a business, she's there."
Organizer Charlotte Cuthbert says it is a family-friendly event. Among the experiences that people can try include a yoga garden featuring Amy Landry of Little Yoga Garden in Woodstock and DIY activities from Urban Wheel in Tillsonburg.
"We do actually have Little Yoga Garden, she'll be doing yoga with little kids throughout the day. We have a lady from Tillsonburg, Rebecca, she's going to be from Urban Wheel, she's going to be DIY throughout the event as well. We have Melissa Sherk from Balloon in a Box, she's going to be doing balloons, tattoos and glitter and then we also have hair and makeup being done by different girls and colours. So it's a family-friendly event. It's not just for women to go to, men can definitely go too."
The event is happening on Sunday May 5th and it will also feature door prizes. Cuthbert says each vendor is donating a door prize at their own table.
The Lady Boss Shine and Shop is free to attend and Domestic Abuse Services Oxford will be collecting donations as well.
The vendor show goes from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
