100 percent of the profits from any of the Ukraine inspired products at Deluca Gifts and Apparel will go to the Canadian Red Cross Humanitarian Fund.
WOODSTOCK - DeLuca Gifts and Apparel are raising funds for Ukraine.
100 percent of the profits from any of there Ukraine inspired apparel will go to the Canadian Red Cross Humanitarian Fund. The company has registered with the Red Cross and they will be publishing a receipt of the donations to them. They're hoping to raise at least $1,000 for the relief efforts.
The company put their first t-shirt in the window yesterday and it sold within 5 minutes, right off the mannequin. Owner Dean DeLuca explains why he wanted to do something for the people of Ukraine.
"The people in Oxford County may be a small community, we can send our reach far and wide to help people all over the world and that is what we thought we would do, being a local small community business to help rally support through the local community and businesses to reach out and help the people of Ukraine."
All Hoodies, T-Shirts, Mugs, Decals or Gift Product which have a custom Support Message for the Ukraine or one of our in-store designs will have 100% of the profits donated to the Canadian Red Cross Humanitarian Crisis Fund. You can also design your own message of support for Ukraine and the profits from that will go towards the Red Cross as well.
DeLuca says they have already had to reorder some products and they just started selling them yesterday.
"We are also offering free design services to any local businesses who would like to purchase shirts for their employees. So if a store decides, hey let's get 10 t-shirts with our logo on the front and a support message for Ukraine, we will help them design that no cost, to not only help them support their business but to also help support the humanitarian effort."
DeLuca Gifts and Apparel is located at 457 Dundas Street in Downtown Woodstock. You can also donate directly to the Red Cross Humanitarian effort online here.
