A sure sign that summer is right around the corner, the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority will open its campgrounds for the 2022 season this Sunday.
A sure sign that summer is right around the corner, the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority will open its campgrounds for the 2022 season this Sunday.
Pittock, Fanshawe, and Wildwood Conservation areas are officially open for the season this Sunday, May 1.
You can purchase a season pass for all three conservation areas, or just pay at the gates for single-day passes.
The conservation areas offer overnight camping, boating, fishing, hiking trails, and more.
Pittock Conservation Area offers:

- 248 campsites
- Picturesque and private group camping facilities
- Large lake for boating, sailing, and fishing
- Modern washrooms and laundry facilities
- 5 km of hiking and biking trails
- Swimming pool in campground
