UPDATE: It turns out the weapons call was a couple of teens, who had just returned from a hunting trip and were in no way a threat to public safety.

WOODSTOCK - Nobody was injured after a weapons call on Cromwell Street this morning Woodstock.
Area schools were placed on hold and secure, including Winchester Street Public School and Huron Park Secondary School while members of the Community Response Unit and Containment Team responded to the area between Berwick Street and Clarke Street North for reports of two men with a weapon.
Police wanted the public to know the schools were placed on hold and secure for precautionary reasons. The schools were unrelated to the call and there is no concern for public safety. Two men have been arrested and are in police custody.
We do not have any further details at this time. This is an ongoing investigation and we will post further updates as soon as we get them.
Video was captured of the Police making an arrest in front of the school with weapons draw. It is making the rounds on social media in Woodstock. Heart FM has a copy of the video, but has decided not to share it.
There is also a rumour that the weapons call involved students from CASS. Woodstock Police have confirmed this is not true and nobody from CASS or any school in Woodstock had anything to do with the weapons call this morning.
