Oxford County residents are invited to take part in a phone survey from Forum Research and Western University that looks to gain a deeper understanding of discrimination experienced by local residents.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford Local Immigration Partnership is doing a phone survey this month.
They have teamed with Forum Research and Western University to randomly select local residents about their experiences of discrimination.
Residents in Oxford County who get a call like this from Forum Research are encouraged to participate. The goal is to gain a deeper understanding of local residents experiences of discrimination.
The survey is open to all residents and responses are anonymous. The calls will run until the end of March and the results will be shared in April.
It is completely voluntary and participants can elect to be contacted for follow up research.
Lead researcher from Western University Victoria Esses encourages people to take part in the survey.
"This is a great opportunity to find out more about the experiences of discrimination in our communities. It is so important to hear the voices of all residents of Southwestern Ontario and we encourage those who are contacted to please respond to the survey request."
