Families who lost young loved ones to cancer are coming together for a good cause Saturday. It's the 5th annual Toss'em UP for Childhood Cancer Tournament in memory of Nick VanDyk and Cassy Mann. Nick was 19, and Cassy 13 when their lives were claimed by cancer. Deb Roloson says the ring toss tournament was first established in Nick's memory. "It was initiated by the VanDyk family when they lost their son Nick to cancer who was only 19 years old. It was a family game that they enjoyed playing and they thought as a legacy for Nick they would like to get together and make this a tournament so his friends could come together but also raise some money for childhood cancer." And this year, Josh VanDyk is riding in the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride in memory of his brother, Nick. He must raise $25,000 to participate, and tomorrows ring toss, BBQ and silent auction will help him towards that goal. You can find the tournament at the Holst Farm on the 11th Line of Woodstock.
