To maintain a happy holiday season make sure that you keep your doors locked at all times to prevent theft.

OXFORD COUNTY - This holiday season make sure that your gifts get to the intended person by locking your doors.

Community Safety and Media Relations, Constable Stacey Culbert on how fast your car can targeted.

"Locking your vehicle is the best thing you can do. Lock it. Lock it. Lock it. Keep making sure that your vehicle is secure. Even if you're just grabbing a coffee it only takes 30 seconds for people to come in, see what they want, go in and grab it."

Make sure that you keep your items out of plain sight and to never leave purses or wallets unattended to. Culbert, continued on the best place to keep your presents.

"We also want people to be very aware that when they get those packages we want to make sure that their not storing them in their vehicles for any time and to keep them in their trunks, we don't want them to be in plain view."

If you witness any suspicious people or activities please report it to the police.
