54 year old Murray Hyde of Perth East Township has died after police say he was struck by a construction truck on Friday June 10th 2016.
PERTH COUNTY - A man from Perth East Township is dead after an incident occurred at a construction site south of Sebringville Friday morning.
OPP say 54 year old Murray Hyde was struck by a driverless construction truck with a water tank at the intersection on Line 32 and Road 134. The truck then struck a hydro pole, which caused a powerline to fall onto the road near Hyde.
He was transported to hospital before succumbing to his injuries.
The incident is still under investigation.
