A 46-year-old man is in critical condition in hospital, after sustaining a head injury in what police are calling a "serious assault". It happened last night in a disturbance that started on Huron St. in Woodstock, and wound up on Sydenham St. Police were called to the scene at 9 o'clock Wednesday night. They say the disturbance dispersed when they arrived. A 46-year-old man was found with a head injury. He was taken to Woodstock Hospital, and later transferred onto a London Hospital where he's listed in critical condition. Police are not saying how he sustained the injury. There are currently no suspects in custody. Police are appealing for anyone with information to give them a call at 537-2323.
