WATERLOO - Meal in a Jar is looking to help Wounded Warriors Canada through a jarfunding fundraiser.
If you purchase gift card of $25 or more for the Waterloo based business, 20 percent of the proceeds go to Wounded Warriors.
Irene Divaris , the owner of Meal in a Jar, tells us about her business and what they have to offer.
"We're a fresh cooked meal that's ready to eat, with the option of indulging in the meals at whatever temperature you prefer hot or cold. They come in a glass jar, no preservatives have been added and they have a nine-day shelf life."
They have 31 different meals to choose from and they can be delivered to your doorstep if you order online. You can find their complete menu online here.
Steven Topham, the National Partnership Director for Wounded Warriors Canada, says all of the proceeds raised from the gift card sales will be going to a great cause.
"We are a national mental health service provider that works to provide resilience and coping skills in an environment that is safe for those that have been impacted by operational stress injuries such as post traumatic stress disorder."
