Thames Centre police briefs include four separate incidents of impaired driving (including three in one day) and a domestic disturbance.
THAMES CENTRE - A good Samaritan call led to impaired driving charges laid against a novice driver.
On December 2, just before midnight, Middlesex OPP were dispatched to Gore Road in Thames Centre for the report of a single vehicle that left the roadway and entered the ditch.
As a result, a 27-year-old from London faces three impaired driving charges, with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding 80.
The accused has been released from police custody and will speak to the charges at a later date.

THAMES CENTRE - Another impaired driver found the ditch in Thames Centre.
Yesterday in the early morning hours, Middlesex OPP received a report of a single vehicle that left the roadway and entered the ditch on Nissouri Road at Robin's Hill Road.
After police arrived, an Approved Screening Device was utilized. The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment where further tests were administered.
As a result, a 46-year-old London man was charged with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding 80.
The man has since been released and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.

THAMES CENTRE - A 27-year-old Curran man was transported to a local hospital as a precaution after a single-vehicle collision.
Hours after a man drove into the ditch on Nissouri Road, a vehicle crashed on Elgin Road.
The driver was charged with two impaired driving-related offenses and has since been released from police custody.
He will appear in court to speak to the charges at a later date.

DORCHESTER - A third impaired driving charge was laid in Thames Centre within 24 hours.
A Middlesex OPP officer performed a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle while on general patrol on Oakwood Drive last night.
After an Approved Screening Device was used, the driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment for further testing.
As a result, a 21-year-old from Dorchester, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges at a later date.
The Middlesex OPP wants to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the Ontario Provincial Police or your nearest police authority immediately.

DORCHESTER - A 30-year-old from London was charged in a domestic disturbance.
Yesterday around 4:30 p.m., Middlesex OPP were dispatched to an address in Dorchester for the report of a disturbance.
The London resident was subsequently charged with spousal assault, and is scheduled to answer to the charge in court at a later date.
