The OPP say the body of the 10-year-old girl was found in Whirl Creek yesterday and her death is not suspicious.
WEST PERTH -The missing 10-year-old girl in West Perth has been located deceased.
The OPP say the body of Taleya Paris of West Perth was located in Whirl Creek near Mitchell at around 3:00 p.m. yesterday.
Police say her death is not suspicious. The girl fell into the water on March 6th, near Road 155 and Line 32.
The OPP West Region Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, Underwater Search and Recovery Unit and Aviation Services had been searching for her ever since. Police say the Stratford and St. Marys Fire Departments, Huron Area Search and Rescue Swift Water Rescue teams, and numerous other fire departments also stepped up to help the search.
The search expanded south into the Thames River and crews also went as far as St. Marys.
