INGERSOLL - Thousands of dollars in damage were caused to a car in Ingersoll after someone decided to walk on the hood, roof and trunk of a parked vehicle.
The mischief happened at a parking lot on Thames Street North between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. Damage to the vehicle is pegged at thousands of dollars.
Police are continuing to investigate and will be reviewing security surveillance footage in an attempt to identify the person or people responsible. It might be a good idea to turn yourself in now, before they identify you on film.

NORWICH TOWNSHIP - OPP are crediting a Good Samaritan with stopping a vehicle theft on Main Street West in Norwich Township.
Police say the Good Samaritan confronted the thief on Saturday night when he was trying to break into a car at a parking lot in Norwich. The suspect fled when confronted. He is described as being in his mid 20's, wearing a teal and pink flowered shirt, jeans, and white and grey Nike shoes. The man had a black sweater however he discarded it as he was being chased away from the vehicle.
It was determined that the vehicle that was the male was attempting to enter was a black coloured 2013 Ford Edge that had been reported stolen in March of this year.

TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP are investigating after a bicycle was stolen from a home on Lisgar Avenue in Tillsonburg.
Police say the Aspen mountain bike was taken on Friday afternoon from the backyard of the home. It is black with green stripes, front and rear disc brakes, 21 speed with 24 inch wheels. The owner had recently installed fenders and a water bottle holder. The bike is worth an estimated $500.

INGERSOLL - A parked car had it's rear window smashed and completely shattered on Cathcart Street in Ingersoll.
Police say the mischief happened sometime overnight last Friday. It does not appear that anything was taken from the car.

TILLSONBURG - A 58 year old man from Norfolk County has been arrested for shoplifting at the Wal-Mart in Tillsonburg.
Police say the man stole merchandise from the store on Sunday afternoon. he was charged with theft under $5,000.
