RIDE programs were in effect over the Civic Long Weekend in Woodstock. Police would like to remind anyone with any information about distracted drivers, aggressive drivers or impaired drivers to contact them immediately to help keep roads safe.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police conducted RIDE programs around the Friendly City over the long weekend.
They had put out a message encouraging drivers in the community to drive safe and drive sober over the Civic Holiday weekend.
The following charges were handed out:
- A three day driver's license suspension
- Two liquor license act tickets
- Ten highway traffic warnings
They are asking everyone should drive sober at all times to help officers ensure the roads are safe. This will help people pay more attention to their surroundings.
