Cultural Canvas, formerly known as Art in the Park, will be taking place in Woodstock's Museum Square tomorrow from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
WOODSTOCK - The new and improved Cultural Canvas event is returning to the Friendly City.
Formerly known as Art in the Park, the event will feature a variety of arts-themed activities for everyone in the family. Enjoy live entertainment, multicultural dancing workshops, interactive art activities, music lessons, and so much more.
Manager of Special Events Kristen Brodhagen explained why the city decided to rebrand the event.
"Embrace our local arts and culture that we have within our community and it's right in the heart of Downtown Woodstock.
she adds the city will be ensuring accommodations downtown for eventgoers.
"There is lots of street parking throughout the downtown that is free, and there will be lots open for free parking as well."
The event is taking place at Museum Square from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Brodhagen said that the Woodstock Art Gallery and the Woodstock Museum will also have special exhibits on display for the event.
