As a result, the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse and Addiction has released Canada's Guidance on Alcohol and Health.
Southwestern Public Health has made a point to share the information and make sure residents in and around Oxford County have the ability to find the new information.
The recommendation is that a person should not have more than six drinks a week in order to reduce health risks from drinking alcohol.
