The Ford Government has unveiled a new Code of Ethics for builders and vendors of new homes and it will take effect on July 1st.
ONTARIO - The Province announced new protections for buyers and owners of new homes on Wednesday.
They unveiled a new Code of Ethics for builders and vendors of new homes. This includes clarifications to the simplified warranty and protections claims process for defects in new homes. It also provides a mediation process for homeowners looking dispute any warranty claims.
