Residents now have a new spot to be able to get rid of their junk.
WOODSTOCK - A new waste depot means a new way to get rid of your junk.
With proper ID, locals can drop off their unwanted items at the facility on the corner of Springbank Ave and James Street
Works Superintendent Alex Piggot says it will take no time to go through the process.
"About five to ten minutes through the facility. That's about an average time. Obviously if you have more material to handle, you've got to count for more time.
Piggot gave us a quick walkthrough of what happens when you first arrive.
"When you show up to the depot, you show up to the front gate there. You're going to be greeted by the attendant. They're going to be asking for your id to see if you're a City of Woodstock resident or if you are from Oxford County".
The depot is open Wednesdays through Fridays from 10am to 6pm and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
