An investigation will continue throughout the day to determine the cause of a house fire on Brock St.
WOODSTOCK - Shortly before 11pm yesterday evening the Woodstock Fire Department were called to a home on 24 Brock Street, in Woodstock, by a passerby after smoke was seen escaping from the rear of the building.
Upon arrive the WFD did witness heavy amounts of smoke and even fire within the residence and started to diminish the blaze.
Nobody was home at the time and the fire was successfully under control just over an hour later at 12:19am. The Fire Department is still investigating the cause, and as a result a portion of Brock Street will remain closed throughout the day. Heart FM will continue to monitor the situation and update you as more information becomes readily available.
