Police seized a large amount of blue fentanyl and cash just before 10:00 p.m on Monday night. Both suspects will appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.
NORFOLK COUNTY - A Norfolk County woman was one of two people charged after OPP seized a large amount of drugs and cash.
OPP stopped and investigated a suspicious vehicle on July 1st at 9:48 p.m on Norfolk Street South in Simcoe.
According to the report, officers seized suspect blue fentanyl along with other illicit drugs and a large quantity of money.
As a result of the investigation, 45 year old Kenneth Kerr of London, Ontario has been charged with:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
- Possession of Ecstasy for the purpose of trafficking.
- Possession of cash under $5,000 claimed from crime.
30 year old Cassandra Riddell of Norfolk County is also facing the following charges:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
- Possession of Ecstasy for the purpose of trafficking.
- Possession of Psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking.
- Possession of counterfeit money.
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition.
- Failure to comply with recognizance on 2 counts.
Both will appear in a Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
