Norwich Avenue has been reopened.
WOODSTOCK - A male passenger involved in a two vehicle collision on Norwich Avenue is in critical condition at a London Hospital. The 28 year old man was a passenger in a grey Hyundai sedan driven by a 27 year old woman. Around 6:38 a.m. this morning the driver of the Hyundai travelling southbound on Norwich lost control and swerved into the oncoming delivery truck traveling northbound. Woodstock Police say conditions on the roadways were icy and slushy. Both the female and male in Hyundai were transported to hospital with injuries. The driver of the delivery truck involved in the collision escaped without injuries. Woodstock Police continue to investigate the crash. It is unclear when the road will be reopened and Woodstock Police are asking motorists to avoid the area altogether.
The collision caused $20,000 in damage. Woodstock Constable Steve McEwen says the forensic unit is also assisting in the investigation.
