The Shaggy Dog and Norwich Veterinary Service come together to put on a Dog Show at Nostalgia Days in Norwich.
NORWICH - Nostalgia Days is a beloved festival in Norwich and the Shaggy Dog Dog Groomer has partnered with Norwich Veterinary Service to bring a little cuteness to the celebration.
The Norwich Dog Show will be held on Saturday July 8th at 10:00 a.m. and will be judged by Shaggy Dog owner Linda Sayer, local vetrinarian and owner of Norwich Veterinary Service Jenny Kungl, as well as of her vet techs.
Sayer says there will be four categories to register your dog in, including best costume, best trick, cleanest teeth, and best body condition with prizes for all of them.
"We'll call the best costume category and we'll have them parade around and show off their dogs in the area we have. There's three judges and we will pick the top three dogs and the top dog get's a basket of goodies and a ribbon."
The fee for registration is $2 with 100 per cent of proceeds going towards Stewie's Friends Foundation, a foundation dedicated to helping animals in need at the local vet clinic.
In order to be judged you must register your dog by calling the Shaggy Dog at 519-468-3569 or send an e-mail to info@theshaggydoggrooming.com. You can also call Norwich Veterinary Service at -519-863-3836.
