The month of October will be a busy one for the Oxford County Animal Rescue, as they are apart of many fundraising events.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Animal Rescue is gearing up for a busy month.
October is filled with events for the Rescue, as they try and fundraise to support the work they do. Director and Foster Coordinator, Anna Holmes says there is a huge event towards the end of the month.
"So, National Adoption Week at PetSmart is the 20th to the 26th, and that's countrywide. So, every PetSmart in all of Canada, they all have this National Adoption Week."
Holmes adds there will be opportunities for residents to see if adoption is right for them.
"We will be in the store on the Friday night, the Saturday and the Sunday with many of our adoptable kittens. So yeah, so come on out and support us."
In addition to Adoption Week, the Rescue will be a part of Fall Fest, their annual bake sale, as well as a spooky auction. If you want to hear all that was talked about on the Heart FM Morning Show with Anna Holmes, you can by listening to the full interview below.
