It will feature four different plays, each lasting about 20 minutes.

WOODSTOCK - The One Act Players (OAP) Community Theatre is getting ready for its next big show.

Four comedies will hit the stage at St. David's Church in Woodstock on November 7th and November 8th. This is all part of the Festival of One Act Plays (FOAP) 5.

Each performance is about 20 minutes each. The first performance will be John and Phyllis part one - Blind Date and it will be followed by Nickers, which will be directed by Lionel Santos.

He gives us a brief synopsis of what it's about.

"Four wannabe thieves decide they're going to rob the same house on the same night, but they didn't know that they were going to be there all at the same time."

Nickers will be followed by John and Phyllis part two - Help Me Get Over you. There will be a quick intermission before Clemson Bartholomen, the final play of the evening.

Producer Ted McLaughlin tells us about that performance.

"It's a parody of a television newscast that gets interrupted because the very famous Oscar winning, playwright, movie screen actor, baseball player and pop icon Clemson Bartholomen has been rumoured to be dead."

Tickets cost $20 each and they can be purchased online here or at Carmen's Foto Source.

Ted McLaughlin and Lionel Santos stopped by the studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Monday October 27th. You can listen to the full interview below:
