A collision between an SUV and a pick-up truck on Plank Line has led to one in hospital and one death.
OXFORD COUNTY - One person has died following a collision in South-West Oxford.
The incident occurred on December 7, 2023, at approximately 7:10 p.m. when an SUV and a pick-up truck collided on Plank Line near Keswick Road.
The Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with members of the Oxford County Paramedic Services and Fire Services from South-West Oxford responded to the call.
The driver of the pick-up truck was transported to hospital with minor injuries, while the 76-year-old driver of the SUV, from Mount Elgin, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The highway was closed completely for several hours, but has since reopened.
