Bid for Kids Sake has already raised just over $7,400 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County and you have until this Friday at 4:00 p.m. to bid on your favourite items.
OXFORD COUNTY - Bid for Kids Sake is officially underway.
It's one of the largest fundraisers for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County and it's all online this year.
Executive Director Kristen Ralph says they're hoping to raise $10,000 for their youth mentorship programs.
"All of our programs, all of the supplies and everything involved in that are at no cost to our families. We use the money that we raise through events to be able to subsidize those costs."
The bidding started on Monday and Ralph says they have a lot of great items up for grabs.
"We have barbeques, gift baskets and we have gift certificates for some of your favourite local places. It's going to be a great auction where everybody can find something that they will really enjoy and want to bid on."
Bid for Kids Sake had already raised over $7,400 as of this morning, which is just over 74 percent of their total fundraising goal.
You have until Friday May 14th at 4:00 p.m. to submit your bids online here and you can also visit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County website to learn more about their mentorship programs.
