This is the highest daily case number in Ontario since June.
Ontario is reporting 959 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 770 resolved cases.
The Province also confirmed 8 additional COVID-19 related deaths this morning. Over 38,000 tests were completed yesterday.
Right now, 291 people battling COVID-19 at hospitals in Ontario, including 155 people in the ICU. Of the people in the hospital, 241 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 50 are fully vaccinated.
As for vaccination rates, 90.0% of Ontarians 12+ have one dose and 87.2% have two doses.
Individuals who are not fully vaccinated represent 23.5% of Ontario’s total population & amount to 469 of Ontario's 959 new reported cases. 61 cases are in individuals with an unknown vaccination status.
