The Ontario Liberal Party will announce its next leader on December 2nd.
ONTARIO - The Ontario Liberal Party will have a new leader before the end of the year.
The party announced yesterday the next leader will be selected through ranked ballots in late November and the winner will be announced on December 2nd.
Former leader Steven Del Duca stepped down after the provincial election last June after the Liberals failed to win enough seats to have official party status for the second campaign in a row. Del Duca became the party leader in 2020 and he's now serving as the Mayor of Vaughn.
