NORFOLK COUNTY - Police are investigating the mysterious death of six puppies in Simcoe.
A woman discovered the puppies on Hume Street while she was out walking her dog on Thursday afternoon. She stumbled upon a fenced in area where two buildings are located off of Hume Street when she discovered the dogs and called police. Upon closer examination the animals were in an advanced state of decomposition, leading investigators to believe that they have been there for quite some time.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
