FERGUS - West Region OPP are stationed outside Centre Wellington High School in Fergus today.
Police are working with the Upper Grand District School Board, investigating a threat of violence against the school that was discovered last night around 8:20 pm.
The OPP are working with the Upper Grand District School Board investigating the source of the threat.
This comes on the same week of a high school shooting in Michigan at Oxford High School, about 50 kilometres outside of Detroit. Four students were murdered in the school shooting and several others were wounded.
Several schools in Woodstock were placed on high alert last month as police investigated threats as well. Those threats proved to be part of an online trend.
Three girls were arrested and charged with Mischief after online threats made at CASS on social media.
