OPP have released the name of the man killed Saturday night in a collision in Plattsville. It happened at 9:47PM near Douro and Elizabeth Streets. Police say 38-year-old Jeffery De La Penotiere of Bright was at the wheel of a vehicle that vehicle that collided with another, killing 83 year old Harold Hartwick of Waterloo. De La Penotiere is charged with: Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death and bodily harm, along with having over 80 milligrams of blood alcohol content. The female passenger in the other vehicle, 85 year old Helena Hartwick of Waterloo was airlifted to a London hospital in critical condition but has since died as a result of her injuries.
