A 72 year old man has died after drowning in a backyard pool in Paris.
PARIS - A 72 year old man has died after drowning in a backyard pool.
Police and EMS were called to a home on Wellington Street on Tuesday evening. Police say the man was discovered at the bottom of the pool by a friend who immediately pulled them from the water.
The friend called 9-1-1 and commenced CPR, however he was already gone. The unresponsive male was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
A post mortem examination was conducted and as a result, the death is not be treated as suspicious and no foul play is suspected.
