No injuries have been reported after OPP responded to a report of a distraught man on the roof of Mitchell District High School yesterday.
MITCHELL - Perth OPP had to call in extra units after a distraught man was located on the roof of a high school in Mitchell.
Officers were called out to Mitchell District High School at around 4:30pm yesterday. The man had refused to cooperate with police so OPP had to contain the area.
The OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team and the Canine Unit attended the scene alongside crisis negotiators at around 9pm.
The man was apprehended in the end and no injuries are reported.
