Drivers should give themselves some extra time to stop if the roads are slippery.
NORFOLK COUNTY - The Norfolk OPP is investigating a two-vehicle crash east of Delhi.
It happened at the corner of Nixon Road and Windham Road 12 shortly after 8:00 a.m. today.
Constable Andrew Gamble was on the scene, and he posted a video about the crash on the OPP West Region X page this morning.
"What I can tell you is that one of the involved drivers sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. No serious injuries to report, so we're all very thankful for that."
He also has this reminder for drivers out there.
"Stop signs on a day like today when the roads are a little slick, they are not stoptional. You have to come to a complete stop before proceeding through the intersection. So when it is slick, snowy, and slushy just give yourself a little bit of extra time to come to a complete stop before proceeding through the intersection."
Stop signs are located on the east and west sides of the Nixon Road and Windham Road 12 intersection.
Remember, stop signs are NOT stoptional, even in less than ideal conditions. Allow extra time and space to safely come to a complete stop before proceeding through intersections. #DriveSafe #OPP @NorfolkCountyCA. (2 of 2) ^ag
