Oxford OPP are asking for the public's help locating a male arson suspect in Ingersoll.
INGERSOLL - Oxford OPP are on the lookout for a suspect after they responded to a small grass fire in Ingersoll.
Officers were called out to the area of King Street East and Water Street just before 9 p.m. on Saturday. Members of the Ingersoll Fire Service were able to completely extinguish the blaze.
Police say a man had started a fire, played a musical instument that is believed to be a recorder and tried to spark the flames once again before leaving. He had a small white dog with him and witnesses also spotted a woman in the area.
The man is believed to be about 30 years old, 5 foot 8 inches tall with short dark hair and a thin build. He was wearing a dark t-shirt and long blue and white plaid shorts at the time.
