All three levels of Government are contributing to improve the facilities at three parks in North Dumfries and build a new tennis court at Schmidt Park in Ayr.
AYR - The Government of Canada and the Province are investing nearly $1 million dollars to improve the Community, Culture and Recreation Infrastructure in North Dumfries.
The money will be used to create new tennis courts at Schmidt Park in Ayr to meet the growing needs of modern tennis facilities, it will also be used to improve the condition of the baseball fields in Victoria and Schmidt Parks with updated lighting, netting, and fencing and improve the accessibility of washrooms at Victoria, Cowan and Schmidt Parks.

Once complete, these projects will improve the quality and safety of recreation facilities in the community, while also creating more modern and accessible outdoor recreation options for residents and future visitors.
