Students may have had a break, but Woodstock Police weren't giving drivers a break during the March Break. A 2-week traffic blitz has wrapped up with city police dishing out 330 tickets. According to Constable Steve McEwen, 208 of the those tickets were for speeding infractions while the remainder were for a number of other traffic offences including driving while using a handheld cell phone, stop sign and red light violations. The blitz was held in an effort to promote traffic safety during the March Break.
