Oxford County's high school students did their part to boost the United Way of Oxford's campaign. The annual Stair Slimb event was held at the Woodstock Community Complex Thursday. In the morning portion, the students raised a combined $21,867. Ingersoll District High School raised over half of that amount at over $12,000. And a congratulations to Haley Fairbairn, who raised $1580 on her own. In the evening, local businesses, family and friends gathered to participate in the Community Stair Climb. For the second year in a row, RBC on Springbank were the top fundraising team collecting almost $2085. Nigel Millington of Rochdale Credit Union was the top individual fundraiser with a total of $500. Overall, the evening's event raised $9170.85 in support of the United Way of Oxford.
