Oxford County has churned out three winners at the Canadian Cheese Grand Prix.
When it comes to cheese you don't want to mess with Oxford County.
Three local cheese makers walked home a winner at the 9th annual Canadian Cheese Grand Prix.
MountainOak Cheese Ltd picked up the award in the Extra Aged Gouda category with a tasty Dutch Gold entry.
Gunn's Hill Artisan ltd captured the Farmhouse Cheese award for a delicious 16 month aged Handeck.
Also picking up an award was the Local Dairy Products of Ingersoll who were recognized for their Oaxaca, a Mexican mozzarella type of cheese.
A fourth cheese maker from Oxford Bright Brand Cheese and Butter was also a finalist at the Canadian Cheese Grand Prix.
The awards were handed out last Wednesday in Toronto
In total 268 cheeses were submitted from across Canada in the 27 categories.
