The Oxford School will use the funds to purchase library resources, classroom technology, and construct a gym.
WOODSTOCK/MOUNT ELGIN - Get ready for a day of golfing and relaxation.
The Oxford School of Woodstock is hosting a golf tournament fundraiser at the Oxford Hills in Mount Elgin this spring. Director of Strategic Development, Kourtney Rand says registration is now open.
"On Saturday May 4th, at The Oxford Hills Golf and Nordic Spa, tickets are available right now and registration is open, so you can register a foursome for $600, and that includes 18 holes, lunch, and dinner."
There is also an option for dinner only, at $50 a ticket. If you aren't big into golfing, the spa is also open at $150 a ticket with food also provided. Parking is also included with the tickets.
Rand says they are currently looking for support from local organizations.
"We are actually accepting monetary and prize donations as well. Cooperate sponsorships are available."
Sponsors now include CIBC and the Learning Hive.
All proceeds will go towards the school, in hopes of getting library resources, classroom technology, and every kid's favourite; a gym.
