The charges include assault, mischief, uttering threats, and theft under $5,000.
NORFOLK COUNTY - Someone from Oxford County has been charged after an assault in Norfolk.
Officers got the call shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Friday. They say two people interacted with each other inside a home which led to one of them physically assaulting the other, while also stealing, damaging property and uttering threats. Thankfully no one was hurt.
Police charged the 30-year-old with assault, mischief, uttering threats, and theft under $5,000.
The OPP has confirmed that this was a case of intimate partner violence.
