Brant OPP are asking for assistance in locating a suspect following an altercation in Paris.
Paris - A random act of kindness ended with an assault investigation.
Brant OPP were called to the area of Oak and Lee Avenue in Paris on December 9th shortly before 10 pm. An individual stopped to check on what appeared to be a stranded motorist. The suspect assaulted the individual before fleeing the scene in a black vehicle heading eastbound on Scott Avenue.
Minor injuries were reported and the suspect is described as:
- White male
- 6 feet tall
- Slim build
- Brown hair
- Wearing blue jeans and a black Nike hooded sweater
OPP are reaching out to the public in hopes they can recover dash camera footage of the event.
