The Colborne Vet Clinic and Burford Vet Hospital have payment programs, which are open to residents of Oxford County.
COLBORNE/BURFORD - There are some options for pet owners.
The Colborne Vet Clinic and Burford Vet Hospital are rolling out programs to help pet owners with the costs of vet visits. Operations Manager, Melissa Brighton says what one of the programs entails.
"So, how a wellness plan works is that it allows a client to take the cost of their pet's annual routine care and be able to break that up over payments through either through the year or through six months, kind of whatever time frame that the client chooses."
She adds it is fully customizable and is open to those near and far including Oxford County. Other programs that are available at the locations include, a referral program, and an on the spot financing options. Brighton mentions how you can get more information about the programs offered.
"So, they can give either clinic a call. The Colburn Veterinary Clinic phone number is 519-428-0721, and Burford Veterinary Hospital is 519-449-1999."
Brighton says they have really seen a need for pet owners not being able to afford vet bills, and she does not want to see a pet or animal suffer because of money. She adds that the programs are a resource to help with that. You can listen to the full interview with Melissa Brighton below.
