An elderly woman has been charged after striking a pedestrian with her vehicle
SOUTH WEST OXFORD TOWNSHIP - OPP responded to a collision on Mount Elgin Road just west of Dereham Line, in South West Oxford Township, that occurred just before 4pm yesterday afternoon. The vehicle that was travelling east bound on Mount Elgin Road crossed the center line and struck the adult male pedestrian from behind. The vehicle then lost control and entered the north side ditch. The pedestrian received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Oxford EMS. 76 year old Joan HUNSLEY,of Mount Elgin was charged with Careless Driving and received no injuries.
